Gerald Lind studied History and German Linguistics and Literature at the University of Vienna and the University of Edinburgh. From 2006 to 2009 Lind was a member of the Doctoral College “Cultures of Difference” at the University of Vienna and graduated with a PhD in January 2010.
After completing his doctoral studies, Lind worked as lecturer in literary history at the University of Education Lower Austria and as lecturer in cultural theory at the University of Vienna.
Since 2011 Gerald Lind works at the University of Graz in the field of early-stage researcher development: implementation of institutional structures, participation in international projects, teaching of courses for pre- and postdocs.

Corinne Von der Hellen studied Environmental System Sciences (ESS) at the University of Graz. In 2005 she joined the team of the ESS-Coordination Office as a coordinator of a new set of course options offered by a co-operation of several academic departments. From 2008 to 2011 she worked as a research associate and doctoral candidate at the Institute for Systems Science, Innovation and Sustainability Research at the University of Graz. In this context, she held seminars for bachelor students in the field of sustainability management. In December 2011 she completed her doctoral studies in Geography at the University of Graz. Since September 2011 Corinne Von der Hellen is part of the team responsible for supporting doctoral researchers at the University of Graz.

Stefanie Lerch-Pesendorfer studied Ancient History and History of Arts at the University of Graz and the Université de Montréal. Since Feburary 2014 she is co-responsible for the DocService, doctoral studies service center at the University of Graz, and since 2015 also co-responsible for the Doctoral Academy Graz.
Stefanie Lerch-Pesendorfer has co-realized the anthologies "Räume und Dinge. Kulturwissenschaftliche Perspektiven", transcript 2014, and "Wissenschaft Macht Nachwuchs", Universitätsverlag 2017, with Susanne Kink and Gerald Lind.
Working for the Doctoral Academy since October 2022. Studied German Studies (Bachelor) and Religious Studies (MA), since 2020 work on a dissertation in the field of Religious Studies. 2019 and 2020 collaboration on the interdisciplinary project "Resistance necessary? Identity and Gender Struggles in the Horizon of Right-Wing Populism and Christian Fundamentalism in Europe Today".
In 2021, the anthology co-edited by Raphaela Hemet "Anti-Genderism in Europe. Alliances of Right-Wing Populism and Religious Fundamentalism. Mobilisation - Networking - Transformation" was published by transcript Verlag.
Raphaela Hemet also regularly writes articles for the religious studies blog in the daily newspaper der Standard.

Studied Comparative Literature (BA), International Development (BA) and Social and Human Ecology (MSc) in Vienna. From 2021 to 2024 research associate at the Arqus European University Alliance at the University of Graz, focusing on participatory research processes and stakeholder engagement. Since 2023 co-responsible for early-stage researcher support activities of the Arqus Alliance (Arqus PhD Pursuit), including organization of the international Arqus Mentoring Programme for PhDs and PostDocs and the PhD Week for Careers Beyond Academia.
Luzia Strasser is also working on her dissertation in environmental systems science on the relationship between activism and science.
