The call for the Arqus Mentoring Programme for Early-Stage Researchers is now open!
Applications are possible here until Sunday March 10th, 23:59 CET
All information regarding the programme, which will begin in September 2024, is available here: https://arqus-alliance.eu/call/2nd-edition-arqus-mentoring-programme-for-early-stage-researchers/
The Arqus Mentoring Programme is intended for advanced PhD researchers and (early) PostDocs from all disciplines who desire additional support and advice during the early stages of their academic career. Mentors will be experienced researchers from another Arqus university and will meet with mentees for at least four times during the course of nine months (beginning this autumn) to discuss topics such as challenges in academia, career strategies, time management and personal and professional growth. A mentor is not a second supervisor, but rather can provide insight and offer a space for discussion for issues that often remain unaddressed. The programme also includes an in-person kick-off workshop and online peer group sessions for the mentees, led by a professional facilitator.
Applicants need to be affiliated with one of the Arqus Universities (Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius and Wrocław) to be eligible.
