Would there have been an entrance fee, the 3MT competition 2024 would have been sold out.
About 130 people - University of Graz personnel, students, friends and family of the contestants as well as people interested in various research topics - gathered on Friday, March 15th 2024 at 7 pm in the Literaturhaus Graz to cheer on and vote for their favorite contestant in the 3MT.
Before the competition, Vice-Rector Mireille van Poppel demonstrated the focus of her research at the Department of Human Movement Sciences, Sport & Health by getting the audience out of its chairs.
After 11 presentations by 11 contestants in a total of around 40 Minutes, the audience voted for the winner of the People's Choice Award. Then, the audience and contestants were treated to free sandwiches and self-pay drinks at the Schrille Grille, while the jury deliberated on who to name the winner of this year's 3MT Graz title.
