In your doctoral research, you will expand and deepen your theoretical and methodological knowledge and skills in the field of law.

The submission deadline for the winter term 2025/26 for this doctoral program starts on July 1 and ends on November 15, 2025.

Doctoral researchers expand and deepen their theoretical and methodological knowledge and skills in the field of law. In their dissertation, which can also deal with an interdisciplinary topic, they undertake the independent processing of new scientific questions. The aim of the doctoral program in law is to further develop the ability to conduct independent academic work and to train and promote young legal scholars. Doctoral researchers must be able to make a contribution to the further development of law through independent academic work.
