The doctoral program in Catholic Theology qualifies doctoral researchers for highly qualified academic work in a discipline of the theological canon. In their dissertation, doctoral researchers independently tackle new academic questions relating to faith and religion in ecclesiastical, social and practical contexts. In the courses to be completed, they acquire new knowledge about the diversity of theological subjects and their research perspectives, about the methodology of individual theological research areas and about the organization, presentation and communication of research projects and results.
Visit the website of the Faculty of Catholic Theology for further information on the doctoral program.
