Consortia
Member consortia of the Doctoral Academy are internationally oriented associations of doctoral students and supervisors (faculty) conducting research on a specific topic. A consortium consists of 10 doctoral students (guideline), at least 50% of whom are financed by third-party funds.
Consortia ensure a regular exchange between faculty members and doctoral candidates. They promote international contacts of their doctoral students as well as their participation in the activities of the scientific community. In addition, doctoral students are given the opportunity to acquire interdisciplinary key qualifications, in particular through workshops of the Doctoral Academy.
